About Dr. Mary D. Lutzo
Dr. Mary D. Lutzo, PhD, LMHC has been in practice in Saint Petersburg, FL since 1998. She has been an invited lecturer to many groups and appeared as sexuality expert on the Sally Jesse Raphael Show and the Bay Area’s Breaking the Glass Ceiling television show. Her articles related to Sexual Abuse Recovery have appeared in Tampa Bay Woman and other publications. Her research study entitled “Characteristics of Patients with Self-Diagnosed Female Sexual Dysfunction” was selected for presentation at the Female Sexual Function Forum in Boston, MA. She is listed in several “Who’s Who” Directories for her achievements and excellence in practice.
Dr. Lutzo holds membership in the American Association of Mental Health Counselors, the Florida Association of Mental Health Counselors, the Suncoast Association of Mental Health Counselors, the American Psychological Association, the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), and other professional organizations. She maintains current certifications in Clinical Sexology, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
